SCIE has launched a new adult safeguarding e learning course.

It has five modules which cover:

What is safeguarding?
Who is an adult at risk?
What is abuse?
What are my responsibilities with regard to safeguarding?
What can we do to prevent abuse of adults at risk?
It also features two video life stories which demonstrate safeguarding issues in real life situations.

The resource is free to access and designed for people who are new to safeguarding as well as those who want to update their skills. It can be used either by individuals or in group training.
