Social Care TV SCIESocial Care TV is a large library of videos on social care, covering adults and young people services, it is run by the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE).  It is free to access and focuses on the English care system but can used across the United Kingdom.  All the films on Social Care TV contain real people and cover a range of important topics including Dementia, Dignity, Mental Health and many more.

The videos on Social Care TV can be accessed in any web browser and can be used by social care trainers, managers and care workers.  You can even download the videos to your computer to view later and SCIE encourage the use of the videos for learning and development.  The website is also useful for students or those looking to enter social care as a career to find out more about the range of subjects in the sector.

Social Care TV has recently won an award at the “Older People Media Awards 2013” for their video “Getting to know the person with dementia: the impact of diagnosis
